Mercury Porosimetry 101

This e-learning training includes a module that provides an introduction to mercury porosimetry theory for porosity and pore volume, as used with:

AutoPore series

Users of previous models or other mercury intrusion instrumentation can still benefit from this training.

This training can be completed within 10 minutes, but is at your own pace.  You may start, stop, and resume as you like until the module is complete.  The module is followed by a short 10 question quiz.

By the end of this training, you will be able to

• understand general principle of mercury porosimetry
• understand the calculations used to determine porosity
• understand how data is presented graphical form
• understand the different physical properties that can be determined by this technique.
